Nature Park at Fish Creek Park South - Official Opening June 18, 2002

The official opening of the Nature Park was held on June 18, attended by approximately 70 members, city and provincial officials, and representatives of Corporate partners Carma Developers and Lafarge North America.

The Rotary Club of Calgary - Chinook was chartered in March of 1977, and soon after established a special fund for the purpose of eventually developing a permanent public facility that would recognize the community service role of Rotary, and provide community facilities for public enjoyment.
